THE CHAUTAUQUA BELLE IS FOR SALE!
The Sea Lion Project Board that overseas the "Chautauqua Belle" steamboat has put her up for sale by sealed bid. Written bids will be received no later than 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, March 14, 2007. Approval by a two thirds vote of the voting members of the Sea Lion Project Ltd. is required for the sale and the membership will be voting on the matter on March 21, 2007. One important stipulation to the sale is that she remain on Chautauqua Lake . (Photo Mayville New York 3/3/07).
