Writing on this new find, ID’s it as the Panama, New York Baptist Church. The original postcard owner also noted that they lived right across from the church.
In the future we hope to be asking for identification help from our followers, when we start posting some early area views by a Chautauqua County photographer. These images were found in the Tranquist Collection, recently digitized by Board Member and professional photographer Niles Dening.
