The Chautauqua County Historical Society (Westfield, N.Y.) has made available online the complete listing of Civil War muster rolls for each township in the county. They are provided, thanks to the work of Chautauqua County Historical Society staff, volunteers and County Historian Michelle Henry.

Note: To Maintain Scan Detail, these PDF’s are large and may require a few minutes to download. Also, while the rolls were scanned using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and therefore somewhat searchable, due to record quality, much is unrecognizable by the OCR software. For best results, unfortunately, manual review is best.
